| ANNUAL COMMUNITY EASTER EGG HUNT |
| Every year, we open our doors to the community by offering an annual Easter Egg hunt. This is not just a come, hunt for eggs and go home…Oh no. Far from it. We are spreading the good news about Jesus’ death and resurrection to our community. God has given us the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with those around us by having an annual egg hunt on our church property. When this first started, it was only for church members, but now it has grown to over 700 people attending with approximately half of them being children. We give away free food and drinks to everyone who attends but the thing that the children look forward to the most is the giving away of bicycles. The generous people at WOTC donate two bicycles for every age category, therefore we give away approximately 20 new bikes every year. On top of that, the congregation also puts together over 10,000 candy filled eggs to ensure every child gets lots of eggs to take home. On top of all of this, there is the bouncy house, face painting, clowns of all kinds, the Easter Bunny and dramas that tell the good news about our risen Savior. The day is full of fun and excitement for everyone. This annual egg hunt happens on Saturday the day before Easter at noon. This happens regardless of the weather. One year we hid the eggs on the property and God covered them with snow. Still, everyone had a great time. You’ve not seen anything until you have seen 10,000 colorful eggs lying on the ground as far as the eye can see.
